Jonathan J. Trouern-Trend
Research supervisor for the American Red Cross Blood Services in Farmington, Connecticut, Mr. Trouern-Trend offers technical expertise in communicable diseases, infection control and biological warfare. In addition to a Master of Public Health degree, he has completed training courses from the Centers for Disease Control and the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID). Coursework includes epidemiology, parasitology, Combat Medical Specialist, Medical Management of Biological Warfare Casualties, and Special Forces Medical Sergeant. As a Sergeant First Class in the US Army Reserve, he has supervised and trained medical personnel, and has served as Ambulance Platoon Sergeant, Medical Intelligence NCO, and Medical Treatment Platoon Sergeant. He served active duty in Iraq 2003-2005.
Jonathan is currently working on several research projects.
